Recap: Haskell Indians vs. Electra Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seymour, The Haskell Indians were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 34-24 win over Electra. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Haskell also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Haskell found their leader in underclassman Haegen Pinkerton, who rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 132 yards and a touchdown. Haskell also got a significant boost from Trevor Henry, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 80 yards.
Haskell's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 4-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.7 points per game. As for Electra, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Haskell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Electra will be playing in front of their home fans against Windthorst at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Windthorst will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
