Flag Football Recap: Grossmont Foothillers vs. Granite Hills Eagles
Granite Hills typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Grossmont proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 26-18 victory over the Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Foothillers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.
A big part of Grossmont's victory came down to the chemistry between Marissa Farace and her top target Gabi Thomas. Farace threw for 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Thomas gained 125 total yards. Thomas also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending one pass.
