Basketball Recap: Elton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Elton entered their tilt with Reeves on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 64-54 victory over the Reeves Raiders. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Fondon, who en route to 16 points and five boards. That's the most rebounds Fondon has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Williams, who on his way to 16 points and five boards.

Elton's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-17-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points over those games. As for Reeves, their loss dropped their record down to 20-13.

Elton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 51-50 victory against Eunice on the 20th. As for Reeves, they have also already played their next contest, a 72-60 defeat against LaGrange on the 21st.
