Jaxon Anderson and Brogan Medina did most of the damage at the plate: Anderson went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Medina got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Noah Myers, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Lincoln had taken East Fairmont down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 13-5 to the Bees.
Maxx Abruzzino made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brycen Moore, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
South Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-1.
Wednesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. South Harrison hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .321. However, it's not like Lincoln struggles in that department as they've averaged .315. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
