Baseball Recap: Grants Pass Find Success

While Grants Pass's victory against Sheldon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cavemen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Irish on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cavemen have posted against the Irish since April 18, 2023.

Grants Pass now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Sheldon, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Looking ahead, Grants Pass will head out to face off against South Eugene at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sheldon, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Corvallis at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
