First Colonial is 8-2 against Kellam since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 5:00 p.m. First Colonial is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 16 games.

While First Colonial's victory against Bayside wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Marlins on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Kellam can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Salem a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Knights have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

First Colonial's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Kellam, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Everything went First Colonial's way against Kellam when the teams last played back in March, as First Colonial made off with a 7-1 win. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
