Basketball Recap: Ben Lippen Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

Ben Lippen lost to Charlotte Christian back in December of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Ben Lippen Falcons were the clear victor by a 50-26 margin over the Charlotte Christian Knights. The squad ran away with 39 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Stella Spang, who posted six points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Egypt Maxwell-Wright, who had nine points.

Ben Lippen has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points per game. As for Charlotte Christian, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Ben Lippen has already played their next matchup, a 48-17 win against Cardinal Newman on the 20th. As for Charlotte Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 95-19 defeat against Cannon on the 21st.
