Volleyball Recap: James Logan Victorious

James Logan picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Deer Valley Wolverines 2-1.

Isaac Gloria paced James Logan's offense, picking up ten kills. Gloria got some help from Travis Bui and his nine assists. Gloria was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

James Logan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Deer Valley and nudges their season record down to 17-6.

James Logan has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against River Valley on the 29th. As for Deer Valley, they will square off against Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deer Valley is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Liberty a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
