Football Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Northwood lost against Gibsonburg back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rangers had to suffer through a 45-8 loss at the hands of the Golden Bears. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Gibsonburg, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Northwood will head out on the road to challenge Margaretta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Polar Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Rangers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gibsonburg, they will take on Hopewell-Loudon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chieftains' defense has only allowed seven points per game this season, so the Golden Bears' offense will have their work cut out for them.
