Dos Pueblos has gone 7-1 against Pacifica recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dos Pueblos Chargers will look to defend their home court against the Pacifica Tritons at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Wednesday, Dos Pueblos lost to San Marcos on the road by a 64-50 margin. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 494th, while the Royals are ranked 94th).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 81-34, which was the final score in Pacifica's tilt against Oxnard on Monday. The contest marked the Tritons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Dos Pueblos will need focus on slowing down Anthony Calica, one of several Pacifica players who made an impact when they last played. He posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Tommy Williams, who put up ten points.

Dos Pueblos has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Pacifica, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.
