Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pecatonica). They breezed past the South Beloit Sobos to the tune of 82-48 on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on three straight.

Despite the loss, South Beloit still got an impressive performance from Coltan Porter, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 15 points and eight rebounds. The game was Porter's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jaycee Schober, who posted ten points.

Pecatonica now has a winning record of 3-2. As for South Beloit, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Pecatonica will take on Galena in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Beloit and East Dubuque will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
