Soccer Game Preview: Gulf Breeze vs. Miami Beach

The Gulf Breeze Dolphins will take on the Miami Beach Hi-Tides in a tournament on Saturday. Gulf Breeze's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Gulf Breeze's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They had just enough and edged Jesuit out 1-0. The win was all the more spectacular given the Dolphins' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Tigers are ranked third).

Meanwhile, while the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Miami Beach who was credited with the victory on Friday. Miami Beach got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Steinbrenner's four. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hi-Tides.

Miami Beach pushed their record up to 10-1-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Gulf Breeze, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2-2 record this season.
