Simmons put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to the Leflore County Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-26 victory. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Simmons had a senior duo take command as Akiah Prince went 10 of 21 en route to 22 points along with eight rebounds and three steals and Vontasia Rush went 5 for 6 on her way to 13 points and four steals. Prince has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sa'Riya Alexander, who posted seven points and five steals.

Simmons smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January.

Simmons' win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Leflore County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Simmons and J.Z. George will round out the year against one another at at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Leflore County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Riverside at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
