Preview: Comstock Colts vs. Cassopolis Rangers
After three games on the road, Comstock is heading back home. They will take on the Cassopolis Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
Last Tuesday, Comstock came up short against Marcellus and fell 46-34.
Meanwhile, Cassopolis earned a 44-36 victory over Lawrence on Saturday. The team accrued 33 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.
Cassopolis had a senior duo take command as Kenny May scored 13 points along with five blocks and two steals and Malachi Ward scored 17 points along with seven steals. Ward hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Ayden Gillam, who scored five points along with three steals.
Comstock's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Cassopolis, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
