Softball Recap: Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran Has No Trouble Against Cochrane-Fountain City

Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cochrane-Fountain City, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lancers blew past the Pirates 13-3 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won three contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Rachel Kazemba was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Kazemba was also big at the plate, scoring three runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katie Kloke, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cheyenne Wales, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

The victory got Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran back to even at 3-3.
