Football Game Preview: Carver Montgomery Wolverines vs. Enterprise Wildcats + How To Watch

Carver Montgomery is 0-3 against Enterprise since August of 2020 but things could change on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Carver Montgomery knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Enterprise likes a good challenge.

Carver Montgomery is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Dothan, who was ranked 19th at the time (Carver Montgomery was ranked 16th). The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 50-28 margin over the Wolves last Friday. Considering the Wolverines have won four contests by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Zion Crumpton, who rushed for 121 yards on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Elijah Tarver helped out on the ground, rushing for 92 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Carver Montgomery was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Enterprise played a tough game last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 53-24 defeat at the hands of Central. The Wildcats were down 46-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Carver Montgomery's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.3 points over those games. As for Enterprise, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Carver Montgomery couldn't quite finish off Enterprise in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 17-14. Can the Wolverines avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
