Softball Recap: Madison Southern Comes Up Short

After flying high against Berea on Monday, Madison Southern came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 7-4 to the Madison Central Indians on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-6 back in April.

Madison Southern now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Madison Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Madison Southern nor Madison Central have any future games scheduled.
