Baseball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union fell victim to Enumclaw and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 1-0.

Brody Iverson was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits.

On the hitting side, Union saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Chandler, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Union now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Enumclaw, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Union has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 win against Kennedy Catholic on the 22nd. As for Enumclaw, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-2 victory against Auburn Mountainview on the 24th.
