Pinecrest Glades Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ronnie Rivero, who posted 15 points. The game was Rivero's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Miguel Diaz, who scored 11 points.

Pinecrest Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alexander Buduen, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 boards. Those 13 points gave Buduen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Rivero, who put up 20 points.

Pinecrest Glades Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Pinecrest Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-11 record this season.
