Softball Recap: Gladwin Takes a Loss

Gladwin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 9-6 to the Chippewa Hills Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-9 on Friday.

Clair Sobeck was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Gladwin's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Chippewa Hills, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-8.

Coming up, Gladwin will host Standish-Sterling at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chippewa Hills, they will take on Big Rapids at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
