While Elmore County's victory against Dadeville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers won by a run and slipped past the Tigers 4-3. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Baileigh Ames was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Patterson, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Elmore County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 6-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Elmore County's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Dadeville, they moved to 11-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Elmore County has already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against Valley on the 7th. Dadeville has also already played their next matchup (against Beauregard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
