Basketball Game Preview: Ingalls Bulldogs vs. Spearville Lancers

Ingalls is 2-8 against Spearville since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Ingalls Bulldogs will welcome the Spearville Lancers at 6:30 p.m.

Last Saturday, Ingalls came up short against Bucklin and fell 45-38. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Red Aces are ranked 48th).

Meanwhile, Spearville had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mavericks by a score of 54-41.

This is the second loss in a row for Ingalls and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Spearville, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

Ingalls came up short against Spearville in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 49-38. Can Ingalls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
