Baseball Recap: Blake Bears vs. Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks
Blake was the 8-1 winner over Minnehaha Academy when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Blake Bears fell just short of the Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks by a score of 6-4 on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Blake has scored all season.
For Minnehaha Academy's part, Zeke Barbatsis was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Barbatsis was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
