The Bob Hope Eagles will challenge the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Bob Hope can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Friday. They lost 10-1 to Port Arthur Memorial.
Meanwhile, Hardin-Jefferson kept a clean sheet against Veritas Classical Academy on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lions as they made off with a 7-0 win. Hugo Lezama was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.
Hardin-Jefferson used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Veritas Classical Academy. Alejandro Sandoval played for 27 minutes having averaged 13 this season and Justin Tran got 38 vs. an average of 18.6. Sandoval made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist and two steals A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
