The Plymouth Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plymouth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Plymouth might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-2 to Waupun, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Panthers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Brett Shutter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Charlie Monkoski also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Sheboygan North came up short against Pulaski on Friday and fell 12-8.

Sheboygan North has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Plymouth, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1.

Plymouth was able to grind out a solid victory over Sheboygan North in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, winning 6-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
