Soccer Recap: Ravenscroft Takes a Loss

Ravenscroft fought the good fight in their overtime game against Cary Academy on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for Ravenscroft in their meetings with Cary Academy: they've now lost three in a row.

Ravenscroft's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Cary Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Ravenscroft will take on Greensboro Day School at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cary Academy, they will head out to challenge Durham Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Durham Academy's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
