Volleyball Recap: Archie Williams Takes a Loss

Archie Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Novato Hornets. While the Peregrine Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hornets 25-17 in the first set.

Archie Williams started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 26-24, 26-24, 25-18.

Zachary Wulff paced Archie Williams' offense, picking up 19 kills. Wulff got some help from Max Brasler and his 26 assists. Duco Nieulant controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Archie Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Novato, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Archie Williams wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Oakland Tech on the 29th. As for Novato, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Marin Catholic on the 28th.
