Soccer Game Preview: Highlands vs. North Catholic

Highlands is 0-5 against North Catholic since September of 2023 but things could change on Saturday. The Golden Rams will square off against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Highlands got the win against Valley by a conclusive 13-1. Highlands haven't had any issues with Valley recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, North Catholic hadn't done well against Deer Lakes recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Trojans skirted past the Lancers 2-1.

Highlands' victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for North Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 10-1-1.

Highlands might still be hurting after the 5-2 defeat they got from North Catholic in their previous meeting back in August. Can the Golden Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
