Baseball Recap: Bell City Takes a Loss

Bell City made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Oran, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cubs fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. The Cubs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Bell City's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Oran, their win was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1.

Bell City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oran, they will venture away from home to face off against Cooter at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2, the Wildcats 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
