Baseball Recap: San Luis Sidewinders vs. Verrado Vipers
San Luis lost to Verrado back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sidewinders lost 13-6 to the Vipers. The Sidewinders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Carlos Gonzales made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Luis Cunningham, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
San Luis' defeat dropped their record down to 11-4-1. As for Verrado, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. San Luis will venture away from home to face off against Yuma at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Verrado, they will head out to challenge North Canyon at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
