Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Hannah Vermuelen and Amanda Esmeier Lead Mukwonago to Victory

It's playoff time, and Mukwonago had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Westosha Central Falcons by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Mukwonago was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 17-25, 25-12, 25-14.

Leading Mukwonago to victory were Amanda Esmeier and Hannah Vermuelen. Esmeier had 25 assists and seven digs, while Vermuelen had 16 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Esmeier has posted over her last seven matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Westosha Central lost, don't look at Kendall Legrande. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and two aces.

Mukwonago now has a winning record of 21-20. As for Westosha Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-16 record this season.
