Basketball Recap: Lower Lake Takes a Loss

Lower Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt a 71-41 loss at the hands of the Middletown Mustangs. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-18.

Lower Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Middletown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Lower Lake will face off against Healdsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lower Lake is facing Healdsburg at the right time seeing as Healdsburg is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Middletown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Bragg at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
