Basketball Game Preview: Colman-Egan C-E Hawks vs. Canistota Hawks

Colman-Egan hasn't had much luck against Canistota recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Colman-Egan C-E Hawks will head out on the road to square off against the Canistota Hawks at 7:45 p.m. Colman-Egan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Canistota likes a good challenge.

Colman-Egan took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They took down Iroquois/Lake Preston 77-60. The victory continues a trend for the C-E Hawks in their matchups with Iroquois/Lake Preston: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Canistota waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 45-39 W against the Eagles.

Colman-Egan's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Canistota, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14.

Colman-Egan lost to Canistota on the road by a decisive 78-59 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Colman-Egan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
