Baseball Recap: Choctawhatchee Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Choctawhatchee, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Muhlenberg County Mustangs on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since March 26, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Jordan Figueroa, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maddox Gentry, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Choctawhatchee's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Muhlenberg County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.
