Baseball Recap: South-Doyle Cherokees vs. Heritage Mountaineers

South-Doyle had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 12-16-1 to make it four. They came up short against the Heritage Mountaineers, falling 12-2. Hunter Tipton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs. He has become a key player for South-Doyle: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 9-15-1 otherwise.
