Soccer Recap: Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Classical Academy's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Carlsbad Lancers by a score of 1-0.

Classical Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-3-4 record this season. As for Carlsbad, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Classical Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rancho Bernardo at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. Carlsbad and Cathedral Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
