Basketball Recap: Deubrook Comes Up Short

If Deubrook was feeling good fresh off their 65-25 takedown of Arlington last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Deubrook Dolphins fell 44-37 to the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers on Tuesday. The contest marked the Dolphins' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brody Scharlemann was the offensive standout of the match as he went 6 for 14 on his way to 14 points and five steals. He has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Karli, who posted eight points.

Deubrook's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-9. As for Great Plains Lutheran, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.
