Goshen beats Luverne for their fourth straight win

The Goshen Eagles had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They strolled past Luverne with points to spare, taking the game 34-17. This was payback for Goshen, who suffered a 28-21 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Goshen has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in six of their first eight games, giving them a 6-2 record. As for Luverne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.
Goshen will be playing at home against Lanett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Luverne, they will head out on the road to face off against Reeltown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Reeltown's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season.
