Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mesa Verde). They blew past the Vacaville Christian Falcons 13-1 on Tuesday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 6-0.

Mesa Verde's offense was hitting Vacaville Christian from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Yahir Sanchez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Mesa Verde and bumps their season record up to 8-5-2. As for Vacaville Christian, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11-1.

Mesa Verde will head out to square off against San Juan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vacaville Christian, they will welcome Lindhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lindhurst will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Vacaville Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
