Basketball Recap: Quartz Hill Falls Despite Big Games from Ty?Jahwuan Jackson and Jeremiah Williams

After flying high against Antelope Valley back in December of 2024, Quartz Hill came back down to earth. The Quartz Hill Royals took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Littlerock Lobos. The Royals' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jeremiah Williams and Ty?Jahwuan Jackson certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Williams almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds, while Jackson dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 boards. Jackson is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least 11 every time he's taken the court this season. Fabian Robles was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points.

Quartz Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Littlerock, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6.

Quartz Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-28 win against Highland on the 17th. As for Littlerock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-40 victory against Eastside on the 17th.
