Volleyball Recap: Maroa-Forsyth Takes a Loss

Maroa-Forsyth's tournament run continued when they took on Teutopolis on Saturday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Wooden Shoes.

Morgan Woolum paced Maroa-Forsyth's offense, picking up nine kills. Woolum got some help from Jacy Ravenscraft and her 16 assists. Claira Timmons controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Maroa-Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Teutopolis, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Maroa-Forsyth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Sullivan on the 6th. As for Teutopolis, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Warrensburg-Latham on the 6th.
