Softball Recap: Wildwood Comes Up Short

Wildwood lost against Meadowbrook Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 23-13 to the Mustangs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alex Barron was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Damaris Douglas, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Wildwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Meadowbrook Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

Coming up, Wildwood will face off against Eastside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meadowbrook Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
