Valhalla has gone a perfect 6-0 against Edgemont recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Wednesday, Valhalla didn't have quite enough to beat Blind Brook and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Edgemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Pearl River, falling 10-0.

Edgemont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leander Desai, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Valhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Edgemont, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Valhalla beat Edgemont 8-5 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
