South Davidson extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Gage Underwood. The Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals 49-8 thanks in part to Underwood, who rushed for 105 yards and two TDs on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.

South Davidson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dylan Beane and Jacob Hill.

South Davidson's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for College Prep & Leadership Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Davidson will host Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for College Prep & Leadership Academy, they will welcome Chatham Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Royals are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
