Basketball Game Preview: Georgetown Bulldogs vs. Aynor Blue Jackets

Georgetown has gone 9-1 against Aynor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Georgetown Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Aynor Blue Jackets at 7:30 p.m. Georgetown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.1 points per game this season.

Georgetown took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They breezed by Aynor to the tune of 89-34. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Blue Jackets are ranked 231st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Amos Jones continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 29 points and nine rebounds. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ean Mitchell, who posted 17 points and seven assists.

Georgetown was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Aynor, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
