Elsinore had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. Everything went their way against San Jacinto as they made off with an 11-0 victory. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for Elsinore this season.

Isaiah Henderson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Elsinore let Andrew Jimenez and Bryson Boyd run wild. Jimenez went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Boyd went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most runs Boyd has posted since back in March. Aiden Kielty also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Elsinore's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for San Jacinto, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-14.

Coming up, Elsinore will head out to challenge Tahquitz at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3.4, the Titans 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for San Jacinto, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-0 defeat against Temescal Canyon on the 23rd.
