Soccer Recap: Stockbridge Comes Up Short

After flying high against McDonough last Tuesday, Stockbridge came back down to earth. The Stockbridge Tigers lost 8-0 to the Ola Mustangs on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Stockbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ola, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

When Stockbridge and Ola next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Stockbridge will try to stop Jones County's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ola will square off against Locust Grove and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
