Jake Owen gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2024 on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Owen and Tampa Catholic will welcome Cambridge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
