Softball Recap: Ragland Purple Devils vs. Appalachian Eagles
Ragland lost against Appalachian last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Ragland came up short against Appalachian, falling 17-2. The Purple Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Anna Burnham was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Anna Smith also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
