Volleyball Recap: Bancroft-Rosalie Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Bancroft-Rosalie hadn't done well against Tekamah-Herman recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Tigers back in September, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 23-25, 25-13.

Bancroft-Rosalie can attribute much of their success to Leah Beaudette, who had 12 digs.

Bancroft-Rosalie was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. They are 6-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Tekamah-Herman's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Maryn Paul, who had 25 digs and two aces, and Cassidy Magill, who had 23 assists and 12 digs. Magill has been hot recently, having posted 23 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Bancroft-Rosalie's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 13-16. As for Tekamah-Herman, their loss dropped their record down to 7-24.

Bancroft-Rosalie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Pender on the 21st. Tekamah-Herman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
